It's possible, if not likely.

However, most crime statistics we see are generally two years old.

They should wait a while before posting any to the public.

That said, I doubt the left will wait. That would be honest.

They already tried to blame the egg shortage, and high prices, on Trump.

Sadly, the left does not understand, the 80% of the population that voted them out, and Trump in, are not that stupid.
Or gullible.

It wouldn't surprise me, they're working really hard to manufacture this buyers' remorse narrative. It would suit as a prop until someone points out that their cities have always been dangerous and crime-ridden. Once that happens, we can expect either the memory hole, or more likely the doubling down. Truly I am astounded at the way the left lies with their whole chest well after said lie has been exposed.

I too am astounded at the blatant and bold lies. But more, I am surprised at the number of people who swallow the deceit whole.
