ITS taken 9 years ....

BigAl

Gone But Not Forgotten
But I finally purchased every piece of property around the old ranch . I love the old ranch place , but the nearest nieghbors had created a real junk yard mess since they moved in about 6 years ago . I looked directly at it .I burned the place down and spent a lot of time returning the area back to pasture land .

Today I took down the last of the fences that separated the ranch . Its great to know what I look at out the front window is all part of the ranch now .
This is now my unobstructed view minus the stacked garbage at the bottom of the picture ,

Congrats. That is some fine acreage sir.

There is something about owning raw land like that which simply cannot be described in words.

I truly understand, and share, you joy and pride.

Like I tell my wife, if you don't own it you can't control what goes on there. Great view Al.

How many acres?
Just 60 acres , but all the places around me are large ranches so I know that no more houses will be going up to block the views .

I don't look at myself as being greedy , but to some , maybe I am . I know that someday this whole place will be my wifes to dispose of and I think I have a good balance of Pasture and woodlands now .
We are a whoppin 2 miles from town center and I back up to BLM land National forest . You can ride out the back of the property and go all the way to Montana without crossing a fence .

60 Acres is a nice amount. It's not too bad a hike to walk the perimeter. If you did that every day you would get some decent exercise.

No wonder you have two snow cats....I asume the BLM land is useable to the Kristi's isn't it?:whistling:

If we are snow less and you have some, can the midwest contingent of Snow catters use your shop as a staging area??

I'll fix that wheel on the tractor free of charge...

Regards, Kirk
