We have about a 1/2" of snow and its still coming down! Time to brew up a pot of coffee and start a fire in the fireplace. The kids are almost as excited as me! There jumping up and down and want to go out side and build a snowman :snow2_smi: . I have a feeling it will be a single tear snowman. Lol. OK maybe there a bit more excited.:winterrul :letitsnow: :flagusa: :bitterCol:thumb:
 
Just left my cabin s/w of Steamboat Springs CO. and we got about 3in. Saterday night it was still on the ground when we started for home at 12:00 we are at about 9000ft. Their was 6in at 10000 when we went over the pass winter is coming. Larry
 
It was 82 (F) and sunny here. Cold front is coming, tomorrow the this is predicted to be 71.
 
Ice Queen. I guess thats why you Brits have so many Pubs! The weather must be depressing. You need a good strong white winter to cheer you up!
 
I 80 is shut down at Truckee CA. Its also starting to snow here in Ely NV. It looks like a bad or Nice storm is coming in!
 
Yup its gonna stick for a bit.

We recieved about 2 more inches since these pictures were taken last night. The sun is trying to come out. Its supposed to get back into the mid 60s later this week.

It's snowing here too. Not much accumulation, but the ponds are all frozen, our visiting Polar Bear that has been here the last 2 days packed out this morning, and the Ocean is frozen around the shore line to 50 feet out to sea. It's the "Real Arctic Stuff". 20 deg F, 40 MPH winds.
