70-something is cold??

Where's you MIL live? Hawaii?
It doesn't feel too bad until -15 or so, unless the wind's blowing, then -5 gets a tad nippy.

She told me it only got to 50 degrees today. Just north and west of you, Hurdsfield. And I know 50 really isn't cold, but cold for this time of the year Not

Heh, we stayed in that lodge on our trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone in 1994. Had a great time!

Hate to see the snow already but it is September!

Yeah, ok, I guess west of here was pretty cool today. We're in for the same tomorrow....mid 50's.
After 90 this weekend, it'll be a welcome cool down. We've got 4 lift stations to pull and check pumps, vac the crud from the bottoms, etc. I hate doing that when it's warm and humid like it's been.
This is workin' weather!! :thumb:

Just a touch of white snow to cover the grass and hang on the pine needles this early am as in the first pic posted. Fall is starting as the temp was also about 26F this morning. The summer campers should all be headed home and archery hunting started September 1st for some areas of the mountain...............

We got touched again this past weekend. It snowed most of Saturday and Sunday. We ended up with about 4 to 6 on the ground Monday am. It looks like an early winter this year. A couple pics taken early Monday morning as the sun returned to the Big Horns......

Hey Bill--where did you take that second picture?? Great view! Stop by the other day, your gate was close so I very carefully turned around without taking your electrical utility box out--ouch!

I am soooo jealous!
all we've been getting is rain and hail.
today it was 45 when I woke up the first time and 70 with crystal clear skies this afternoon, but the wife decided we should go to the office anyway.
the next 6 days are supposed to be rain and I was stuck in cubeville on the one perfect fall day.... :(

I'm really hoping we get the early, hard winter all the signs seem to be pointing to.
