i got word today my Dad is in the hospital going through surgery to day with about a 10% chance of maing. As you grow older you got to figure this thing is going to happen my wife who is 10 years younger than me is all worried that i'm going to take it hardi was like don't worry i've had time to mentaly prepare for it. So i will be hopping a plane today and going south to omaha to visit with him hopefuly he maks it through surgery.

Update...

dds Isn't near his computer as he is in the Omaha area, so I thought I would pass this along. His father is doing well, but last night he had a call from home. His mothers bother in Anchorage has passed away. I was hoping to have time to visit with him in person, but this may cut his time short here in the lower 48...Wanted to show "mini me" his son around the farm a bit...Maybe next time.

Hope your time with your father is good and you have some good conversations. Life it short enough as it is, cherish what you have left with him!
 
Things went from bad to worse the day i got here i recieved word thàt my uncle visiting nome passsed while i was traveling and i had to notify my mother
