Its a snow day!

BigAl

Gone But Not Forgotten
Time to go plow and its still coming down hard .Looks like I will spend a bit of time on the old tractor this morning . Got over 12" yesterday and it looks like we may get a bunch more today . Most of it is going to be blower work as the snow is stacking up on the sides of the road .May be time to put the heeling plow back on .

Have another cup of coffee, it will still be there in an hour, You gotta learn to slow down, now that your in heaven

Got the road opened back up after a couple of spear pins later . Spent the rest of the day trying to get the equipment trailer inside the shop and unloaded . Finally found my Tile saw about 1/2 way into the trailer unload so I headed up to the apartment and got all the tile cut for the kitchen counter tops . I should be done with the counters tomorrow . Thank God I have something to do to keep me busy .

You haven't started her greenhouse yet? Time to be starting seeds soon. At least build her a couple hot boxes.:whistling:

If he got over 12" of snow yesterday, with more to come, he might as well sit a spell, put his feet up and relax, with regard to the greenhouse, lol.

Over here in the south west of England we had a week of snow in November (absolutely astonishing, for that time of the year, and for the south west).

It wasn't as mild in January as we're used to either, we had some heavy frosts. Now we're into the rainy month, but it's mild, and I haven't had the heating on for several days now; well, maybe for an hour or two in the evenings, and the heated underblanket at bedtime. And 90% of my cuttings that I planted out last fall have survived, so I'm happy about that.

What happened to the blower that clears a mile of road in 10 minutes

Thats 10 miles in 10 minutes !:whistling:

I had to clean up around the house and barn and also widen out the road where the ice chucks were built up . It slows things down a bit .

Good mornin Snow mutt , man what a beautiful day up here .
