It was a blast

Oh yeah!! :thumb: Good for you Judy. I know it's a blast. My wife and I went a couple of times. Once on the New River and once on the Lower Gulley (both in Southern WV Fayetteville area). What fun. It wears you out but what an experience. :thumb: Both times we went with groups of 20 or 30 people so we had a few rafts. This worked so we could get into water battles and laugh at the ones that fell out in the rapids ...that is until we fell out. Lots of good memories for sure. :D

We used to take the scout troop every spring. It was a blast. Getting too old for that now. I proved to myself that you can swim upstream with a paddle in your hand more than once. Went one time and it snowed overnight before we went. It was different to see mountains covered in snow while riding in the raft.
