Is this a good buy ??

Gone But Not Forgotten
I have a chance to purchase a used 5' landpride PTO tiller for $700 OBO. THis seems like a good deal . Unit has been used twice . Originally purchased at TSC .
Can someone tell me what they think ?

The price is nice. Make sure the slip clutch is working otherwise your tractors HP may break something since I "think" the Land Pride isn't made for your HP.

LandPride makes good stuff. Otherwise - what BC said is all valid.

A properly set slip clutch is really important.

Never Mind ! I guy did not know what he had . His wife checked and it is a 4' king Kutter . Way too small for me . At least it saved me a 100 mile round trip .

Al, Just hop in your truck and drive over here. I'm done with mine until next spring. It's 58" with 40HP rating and a good slip clutch.

It's torn up 2-3 acres already with no problems.

Just pressure wash it, change the oil, and replace any broken parts and have it back by next March.

I do appreciate it but Nope ... Now I decided I want a 72" . The little woman even agrees .

Every time I borrow something I am a nervous wreak that it may break . This is something I will use many times so I just might as well bite the bullet and get the right size that fits my DK45 Kioti .

It is just about the last implement I need . I made a custom grapple for the front bucket ,but it is so powerful that I can break stuff . Its more like a car crusher than a grapple . Finally picked up a pressure regulator and that should end that problem ,I hope . If not ... does anybody need their car crushed ?????

That's probably a good idea - the tiller is a great implement. Plus the gas you would spend driving here would pay for at least 1/4 of a new KK tiller.
:)
