Imp Track rebuilding fun

Well kids spent 3 hours this morning dismantling 40% of the grousers on one track.
Nobody has lived a complete life until tackling this, with ancient rusted on bolts adding to the fun.
Input from you guys helped me see the need of a "special tool" (simple fabrication) to gain access to the bolt heads recessed within the grousers. That - plus a couple applications of penetrating oil (50/50 acetone and ATF) - seems to be working.
Gonna have to do this in stages to recover my poor knees from crouching down for so long. Something about living for 7 decades screams forgiveness.

Thanks for the encouragement, sympathy, or maybe I should be marked as a fool...which is about how I feel sometimes. Spent several hours yesterday and today, and a few more tomorrow will finish dismantling one track. Have had to cut off 3 or 4 bolts, most others came off easily enough, while too many others took every bit of strength I had to unscrew the buggers.
Can hardly wait to finish this one and move on to the next (ughhh). Putting them all back together with new stuff will be a breeze by comparison, but then you've been there.
Pop and over and give me a hand (as long as you're not averse to frequent bursts of profanity), refreshments are on me!
