no this isn't tongue in cheek. If someone wanted to do a EV mod, this is could be great starting point. For someone who had a definitive purpose ie Cabin access where a solar array did the charging when you got there, grid on the other end.... But at $4.5k, a bit steep for the prospect.

track parts are worth that if you need them
just the ring and pinion is worth 1/2 the asking price if you need one.

The Cflu has driven prices out of line with conventional thinking.

V4 motors are cheap and easy to upgrade.

EV conversion is fun study in physics but yes here are all the bits needed.
