A link to The Cloud for my worksheet, a work in progress, of all the info I have gathered after hours and hours...and hours...of research from you dudes and any sources I could find. More for my benefit to keep track of things. Should be able to open it if you have a Microsoft account to 1drive.

The days are gone when you bought a PC and it came with Word, Excel, PowerPoint software installed. Now you have to buy the software just to create a document or use the free on-line from Microsoft which stores everything on the cloud as a xlsx or docx document. I hate it but won't fork over the cash to buy the software seldom needed. Being retired I no longer have an employer providing all that at my disposal.
Yeah, I think the spreadsheet is editable. It's pretty rough, I'm not real good anymore at formatting Excel and just wanted a place to stuff all my scribbles.

Buy a new bmw. Heated seats are a given as standard equipment. Want the steering wheel heated.....$ 2.95 a month.

Music on my phone. Adds to listen too or $4.95 a month.

Our college supplies students a full suite of microsoft products (very cheap) . When the license terms out. The software keeps working as long as you dont update your computer. Updates on your electronics is how manufactures force the consumer to where they can generate revenue.

I can go upstairs dig out a desktop pc. Turn it on, pop in a handful of dos commands and im up and running locally. Try to share anything, and you better have a disk drive, usb port, or cd, dvd drive.
Mark my words, Wont be long and files saved as *copies* Will no longer be a thing.
 
Man, don't get me started! I can't even attach a file here that's saved on my Tablet because it's not the right extension or some such nonsense so had to resort to using One Drive on the Cloud. Computers anymore just raise my blood pressure.

Back when I was a working stiff I managed people and processes with the help of computers of course, and had an IT guy on my staff plus corporate support to deal with making my life bearable. Now the digital world is continually changing; we are just pawns anymore, trying to keep up.

Like everything anymore, it's all about control and lining someone's pocket with $$.
