a guy that was bagging my groceries.
he said, 'why have u got those scratches.......'
(i have a hangnail that i keep snagging onto myself & 'at.)

i explained, gently, yet efficiently, that i hafta put medicine on, & then i'll be better.
this kiddo apologized profusely. i said, 'it's ok.'- & reassured him that he need not be apologetic. he is special needs. he is as wise, i think, than many, many ppl.
end of story.
