(Mods, please move this if I am in the wrong column.)

As many of you know, I just purchased a Myerchin B300 for my own personal use. I was impressed with the quality and the strength of this knife from the moment I opened the package.

I called Laura at Myerchin and applied to become a rep. (My usual distributor does not carry the complete line.)

We spoke again today and Laura informed me that I am now a factory rep, and I will begin selling their full line of products.

I can't project my niche' market at this time, but as I told you, if you're a commercial sailor or fisherman, a working cowboy, a wilderness camper or hunter or some of these snowcat operators working in remote areas, this brand of knives was designed for you.

Many of their/my knives come with a 'Marlin spike,' allowing the user to unknot wet rope without cutting it, thereby saving it.

BTW, Doc has graciously allowed me one post to announce this new venture, and I thank him.

Don't track mud on his carpets. If you need info, please make all future contacts on my PM.
