Pritzker actually pushed for, and signed laws during his term to make ILLINOIS one of the friendlies SANCTUARY STATES in the nation.

Cook County is a SANCTUARY COUNTY inside a SANCTUARY STATE.

City of Chicago is a SANCTUARY CITY inside a SANCTUARY COUNTY, inside a SANCTUARY STATE.

Not sure who is a fan of the movie A Christmas Story, but there is a line in that movie that reminds me of the folly of the what is happening in the state of Illinois. Seems to me that Illinois said "I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU" to come to the state. And they are!
