I'm all for a weapons training course that is mandatory in order to graduate from HS. So many dumbasses don't know which end the bullet comes out these days. There are so many instances that carry laws would have saved the day. I think a start would be get more people familiar with guns. (of course, the idiots would argue that they'd be better with weapons when they go postal)

Do you remember the idiot that drove into Luby's in Waco, Texas and killed 19 people. Just an example.

True, but I am better than the next guy at shooting.........I dont miss at 20', and I am faster. Also, I dont give squat about some dipstick that is crazy enough to try something stupid.
