...I would need a fucking helmet!

I am about to make my THIRD trip of the day to the hardware store because I can't buy the right size fittings to replace a section of old galvanized water pipe in the basement.

STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID!!

I think I have just about every size of PVC pipe fitting I could ever need in my garage . . . except the one that I end up actually needing. ;)

Hate to say it Dave, but you sound just like a woman. :shifty::hide:

I'm glad that I'm not alone. :clap::clap:

I have a stock of PVC pipe, everything from 3/4" to 1-1/2" and 5 gallon buckets of fitting for all sizes and still have to run to the store because I am always one fitting short. You know how it is, you're one fitting short so when you're at the store you buy six of them so you'll be ready next time except that next time it's a different fitting that you happen to be one short of. There's no justice in this world. :hammer::hammer::hammer:

Why not start at point it enters the house and change it all over to pex with 3/4 main lines and 1/2 supplies. It is a one time deal and you never have to mess with it again. Better water pressure and no rust!

Good advice and that's exactly what I did about 3 years ago but I still have to mess with the supply from the meter at the gate to the house and all the sprinklers for a 4 acre yard and two veggie gardens.
