my 10 year old daughter has a friend the same age....she plays for a under 11 league soccer team and is the only girl on the team,to add to that she is the highest goal scorer on the team and the team as never lost a game in the season so far.

All the boys respect her,so i was fucking angry to find out that 2 girls from school are bulling her,this sweet girl due to the bullying has at the tender age started self harming....WTF....10 years old and self harming due to 2 bully's at school....not on my watch!!!

The school was informed and done naff all...both parents of the bully's are on the school council so tonight i made a point of going to the school council meeting...o dear big gob here nearly got arrested,why is it bullies parents act so blind,and when you point it out to them they then become so aggressive saying their child would not do such a thing???...well i know how to kick ass and made that very clear...if their kids bully this girl once more i will make sure i bully the parents....dads will get a beating from hell just to give them a minor taste of what this 10 year old girl is going through...ffs this girl has her left arm bandaged to cover the scars.

This young girl lost her dad when she was a baby and is raised by mum and her older sister....they work hard to fund her and money like so many is tight....i aint no saint or loaded with spare money but after all the shit got off my chest me and my wife went out and got her a ds and loaded with a bundle of games....now all i get is text messages saying thanks ....no i thank her for making me a promise she will never harm her self again...i hope she is strong enough to do so.

So thats why i hate bullying scum....watch over your kids as they some times are just way to scared to speak about it and it just may then become to late.
 
There's a girl that is a bit of bully to my 8 year old and other girls in her class. I make a point of telling my daughter to kick her ass in everything. My daughter is smart and strong but a really nice to other people and well mannered type of girl so I constantly have to reminder her to be tough and stand up for herself.

It's hard to not get involved but the only advice I have is that there is little we can do but teach them how to deal with bullies. I know when I was young it was an issue for me until I realized that I was bigger and stronger than most other kids and learned to stand up for myself.

Actually, it has been a bit of a challenge teaching my kids to be "tough" - neither of them really want to be but in the last few years I have seen my efforts pay off. They can certainly dish it out and take it on a soccer field.
 
that is so sad. to be injuring herself as a means of coping leaves me speechless. she's elementary-aged! there's usually that 1 bully- seems they've issues w/ self-esteem, maybe jealousy.
that kiddo being bullied at so pivotal an age is beyond wrong, as is bullying regardless of age. my bf's kiddo was being escorted by her teachers from class to class @ 9-ish yrs., due to these girls several grades ahead of her picking on her incessantly. her Mom was considering switching her schools. finally, this spindly kiddo lost her patience & spoke her mind to them, & they haven't bothered her since.
then, last yr., a group of 5th-ish graders picked on my nephew over a kiddo having tween eyes 4 him. got to where none of the nearby kiddos would talk to him & would leave when he tried to be near 'em. 1 mom went to my bro/sil-to-be's place & began shouting at them (raynin giggled @ her, hehe- sad when a baby makes an adult woman look silly) saying devin was a trouble-maker, blah-blah. she dialed 5-0. i luv the 1 that was sent there~ my bro's now-friend that lives literally yards from him (thus knows of the woman's antics), he also used to wanna be my guy.
u were very smart to attend that mtg. & let your self be heard, loud & clear. & yinz getting her that kind gift.
 
All it took was hitting him really hard over the head with my social studies book to stop a kid from bullying me
