Not because of the snow, but because the damn wind made me go around with a roll of duct tape and poly sheeting and cover all the windows on the inside.
 
Apply for a stimulus grant for new windows. Sounds like a "shovel ready" project to me.:clap:
 
I remember the first year in our house, I had to duct tape the outside of the east door because the wind would blow the duct tape off the inside. I ended up removing that door completely as it wasn't really used and leaked too much air. ;)
