I have a customer who is having trouble with his email and I am trying to help, at least i was trying until I found out his workstation or laptop is Apple. I don't have apple and do not know where the settings are for mail. Hoping one of you will enlighten me so I can try to help this guy.

He is receiving email okay, but cannot sent emails. So I am looking for where you set your outgoing email settings. Any tips or hints on this setup would be greatly appreciated. TIA
 
Click on mail...then preferences...then accounts....and look at the outgoing server....it will depend on who his server is.......Hope that helps
 
That helps. Exactly what I was hoping for. My server is his mail server so I know what all that should be but he didn't know how to get to the settings.
