How much do I ask?

Greetings,

Here are some pics of my 1976 Bombi that is for sale. I bought it a few months ago to restore and have fun with. Now it's time to move to the next project (cat) but I have no idea what to ask for it. :brows: Here's the deal: I paid $5500 for it. It is the summer cab model (converted to winter). Motor and tranny are good no leaks with 1300 hours. Original roll bar and roll cage. Tracks and grousers (24" alum.) are in good to great shape. Sprockets in good shape. Tires in good to great shape. New...brake band lining, paint, cab enclosure, lights (dome, rear, driving and KC Highliters), 4500lb Superwinch mounted to hitch, fold out steps, strobe, stereo, rpm guage, canvas doors, rear window, majority of the wiring, and a few little misc. goodies that I thought would be fun to have. The only major problem that I can see is that (I got lazy) there is a gap between the top of the doors and the top of the cab. :whistling: A few small gripes are: some paint overspray in spots, I didn't fix all the dents and dings to the fiberglass enging cowl (the front was done), the windshield was not covered during a spot welding session and left splatter on the left side of the glass. I have put a few grand into it, but only because I was having so much fun doing it! But, now that it's time to move on...what do you think I can get out of this so that I can purchase the next one.
Thanks,
Steve

Looks to be in pretty good shape. You might also state your location as that will impact the going rate. It kind of looks like you might be out west.

Have you used the Superwinch much? How long have you had it and do you leave the winch attached year round? I'm winch shopping these days. ;)

I am located in Durango, CO. I have a fella interested, but I can't settle on a price. I have put a LOT of time into it. I certainly don't expect to make a mint.

The winch hasn't been used much. It's nice to have though, just in case.
Any idea's folks?

Thanks,
Steve

Best bet would be to trade it to me and pick out your new project.... just my 2 cents www.mn-outdoors.com

those machines in with a good factory cab in Michigan have been bringing
5500-6500 looks like you did a good job.

After searching around, I was hoping to get $8500. I guess most of the ones that I've seen for 4-7K aren't really in that good of shape and would require a few grand to make em nice.
