How do you post a URL link?

Totally stupid or confused here on this one. I can't paste a link to save my butt.

Jim,
When your in 'advanced' edit mode (not the quick reply window), if you click the little globe it will pop up a window to put the url in.
But an easier way, even in quick edit window is to put url tags in front and behind any link you want to type or paste in your post. To put a url tag in front of something use the [ bracket then type url and the end ] bracket. at the end of your link type another open bracket [ then a slash, the one under the ? on your keyboard / and then type url and the end bracket ]
Wow, hard to explain but very easy to do. I'll mistype url in the next example so it might show up for you substitue url where I put lru in this example:
[lru] www.anylink.com [/lru] hope this makes sense ....and works! :)

Thanks Doc, I'll give it a try. When I try to paste the link it says I need to edit my Mozilla file???????
This is an image link. Let's see if that works.

That didn't work.

Wow, the picture worked that time. I still want to try and get the link to work.

[url]www.refugeforums.com/refuge/showthread.php?t=393363 Ok, so if you click on the blue p...ng nuts. Time to get away from this computer.

Jim, the part between the quotes " in your url tag ...but before the ending bracket can be used to 'name' your link.

You might want try switching off the advanced wyswug editor option, that makes it a little easier to add links. You can change it in your user cp.

I see the problem with your last link. your ending url does not have the slash /. it needs that. so I'll put the same link below with an ending / in front of url and it should work.
