Gone But Not Forgotten
This doe with twins has injured her one leg and can't make the long walk down to the creek in the hollow. Most of the other spring holes I have dug in the woods are drying up so she has braved the bulls to come in the pasture with her little ones for water. They have been hanging down in front of the house for the past week now. She is still nursing them so she needs a fair amount of water. I may have to start filling the hole for her if we don't soon get rain. It is down almost a foot even though I have the barn spouts piped underground to it.
