Home Depot sued for 3 million

Looks like Home depot is being sued by a gent who was glued to a restroom toilet seat when he used the facilities. Managment choose to ignore his pleads for help, as they thought the whole topic to be a bit shitty. :moon:

As I understand it ems was finally called to the scene and removed the complete seat to transport the gent for treatment. Anyone know a good solvent for "set" glue?

Let's see if HD coughs up the 3 mil and a free case of Gorilla glue in a settlement.

3 mil huh? Cameras in a rest room are a no no but how can they prevent this kind of thing. Unless in a huge hurry, I'd think you'd notice glue all over the seat before sitting down.
The sceptic in me has to wonder if this is one of those guys trying to get over on the system by gluing his own arse to the seat. Since he is 57 years old, I'd sure hope he is older and wiser .....but I still have to wonder. People never cease to amaze me. And the truth is often better than any fiction you can dream up. If by chance he does win, I predict copy cats will be trying to get theirs. For that reason alone I'd also guess there will be an out of court settlement of an undisclosed amount.

The lawsuit claims he suffered pain, humiliation and financial loss. It seeks $3 million.

"It's not about the money. I want my health back. I want to be back to normal," Dougherty said. "I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody ever, ever again."

With him making a statement like this, it sure does make you wonder. As far as the purpose of his lawsuit...making sure these type of things don't happen again...yeah right!

He must be related to the ones that claimed 'Mickey D's hot coffee burns', 'the finger in the food' and whatever else that falls into these BS claims.

I've no idea how he came up with that figure. I wonder if he went so far as to hire an attorney. Or he got his hospital bill from the bypass and owes that much. :D

They should make anyone that sues, on these frivilous Law suits, and looses, pay the person that he is sueing the amount he has sued them for, and his lawyer should be taken out and shot.:2gunsfiri
