Help Wanted

REDDOGTWO

Unemployed Veg. Peddler
Many of you know that I raise vegetables for the Farmers Market. As my main man, my brother, has weakened in the last year, I will need help this year.

I am willing to hire someone to take his place under the same conditions that he had worked.

Work hard, I could finally get more done in the last couple of years then he could.

Know a lot about plants and gardening.

There is no pay, no fringe benefits, no nothing, just work.

If interested please contact me.

i would like to apply but i cant make it in the morning till at least 11:30 am and of course lunch has to be from 12 to at least 2:30pm, and then i have some phone calls and forums i have to take care of. this usually takes about 2 to 3 hours. then its past time for afternoon break so i will take 1 hour instead of the usual 10 minuits and by then well i guess its time to head home for the day, but dont worry, i hardly ever miss a day. i am dependable as they come. if you think i might fit what you are looking for just let me know .by the way, i will have to move to where you are so i need you to front me the bucks to pay for that. but i can work that off by helping out arount the house. oh i forgot to mention i will be living with you for a while just till i get on my feet. anyway let me know. looking forward to working together. benspawpaw

A Union man. :glare: :poke:

I do appreciate all the offers of help.

When I left the farm earlier in the day we did have half an inch of rain. So today and tomorrow will be off with no pay as it is to wet to work.

Felt like snow on the east side of ND, a lot of the area people south of us lost their gardens to frost on Friday night. After all the flood water this spring I don't have all of mine in yet. Guess it is luck, but it will be a very late harvest here the way it is going. Reddog if you get this far east there will probably be a lot of people looking for items earlier than most of us will have them available.

Wow, I'd like the job. As Muleman said, it sounds a lot easier than working for the wife :whistling: Still the commute would probably be a bit much for me to make it up there.

Ditto here. Although I'm pretty close. Just a row of Brussel Sprouts to go.

Oh, and some new blackberry bushes, but that is permaculture so I don't count that as 'gardening' in my workload.

No snow and we are up to seven tenths of an inch of rain.

I purchased a Verizon wireless usb port adapter and can now access the internet from the shop when I have time.

By the way, there would be no time for commute as we do work sun up to sun down and then clean and pack for the next days sale.

Mainer,Bobcat,Snowops said they will work for free just PM them and tell them when to show up and where.:yum:

Can I bring my 'tractor'? :poke:

Now that we can use, two inches of rain tonight after the more than five inches of rain eleven days ago.

Are the tracks set up for thirty six inches on center to match the row spacing?

Rats, I think it's closer to 5-6ft. But I like mashed 'taters, too! :thumb:

Got about an inch of standing water in the hotel parking lot tonight, in Bismarck.

Hope you enjoyed the little shower we put on for you. The underpasses under the tracks were blocked off for a while due to the amount of water. Main had a foot and a half of water on it in some spots.

We are at our summer residence, the shed, where the garden is at. It is about five miles south of town.

It is raining again down here.

I was fixing the stool at my brothers house and I needed a part, so as I was leaving Menard's the sirens went off, went down and finished the job, heard it rain, but did not realize that it had rained that much or the wind was that strong.
