OK this is serious.

I need you guys to help me get the lovely Mrs_B out of town for a few weeks. And I might add she is not being very cooperative and we have her sister flying in to stay with us for a few weeks over the holidays.

I happened to stumble across another Snow Trac.
And it is FOR SALE too.
And to make it even better, it is right here in Indiana!!!

Now you are all probably thinking that it can't get any better. But you'd be wrong. The Snow Trac for sale is a rare "open top" version of a Snow Trac, made with a long open cabin, and ideal for hauling either people or equipment. Prior to making its way to Indiana, it spent its working life on the sand in the Texas oil fields as a utility vehicle used to transport repair crews and their tools over the shifting sand.

I'm trying to get photos. I already got the price. Asking price is $3500.

Having 2 isn't a good idea. I think it should be stored in W. PA for a couple years.

OK, a couple weeks? Arrange shipping then send her to the mall 1/2 hour before it arrives. You'll have plenty of time to cover with dirt.

Is this a twist to the TV show Trading Spouses? I wouldn't blame the lovely Mrs_B for not wanting to out of town. And to make it worse you got her thinking that while she's gone your gonna be out buying a snow-trac??:4_11_9:

Well maybe not such a bad idea!!:a1:

Keeping up with that '2 of everything goal' eh? ;)

I'll invite her to come out here and spend some of your money at the 2 casinos if you want:whistle:

Don't look at it as a 'goal' it is more like a 'way of life' :D

Besides, this one is the 'open top' version so I'm thinking that women look sexy when they drive around in convertibles. Yea, its a convertible! How could the lovely Mrs_B be upset with me if I buy her a sporty go-anywhere convertible as a Christmas gift this year? :tiphat:

I should probably point out that her sister would have to go out of town too. And while the lovely Mrs_B is not much of a gambler, I understand her sister can spend money at casinos pretty well, now if there is a bingo parlor with big pay offs, Mrs_B may stand in line to get inside.

OOOOkay...I'll bet she would just love a rag top this time of year:eek: :fr2:
better you than me:D

Bingo & mega payoffs?...yep they do
shall I make the reservation for both of them:whistle:

Aww I dunno Bob, that would kinda break the $15 limit you had for her, I guess you could push it a wee bit just this year.

Ive had sucess with the send 'em out 10 mins before its delivered, and I had great success with the have it delivered next door and pop it over next time they go out, just get it in the shop before they return and youre OK.

Seriously Bob, go fo it, I bet you could get serious money for a pair of restored snowtracs, and you would be quite a presence at shows. Do you think youre neighbors would let you deliver it there and store it in their yard for a few days, maybe even a small storage payment to sweeten the honey?

Good luck

Bob, would that be silk lined or linen for your casket! what flowers and music? Man you are lucky, I can not even think about equipment or I am a gonner big time. HER bday is next week, no idea. Christmas, uh, is that coming too!

Danny, you live south of me. The Snow Trac is in Hartford City (near Muncie) if you want to have both our wives "share" the gift?

Hey Bob,
The new snow trac could be payment for allowing the sister to spend two weeks., cause you know that will get expensive and throw off the normal household schedules.
....or maybe you could send them both over to Junks for a few days. He owes one since PineRidge took in Junks wife for a while. Right Junk?

Bob, You need to mess up your shop more. Nothing like a shop full of crap to "hide" things in. After a while you could have 10 Snow-Tracs hidden in there and she wouldn't realize.

I buy stuff all the time and if I don't tell my wife - she never realizes it. She just avoids all my crap. I think I could get a new tractor and she wouldn't even realize it as long as I kept it the same color.
