My name is Hope I am from Osage IA, I am a CNA have been for 2yrs.I am married and have 3 boys..6,2,and 2months.I enjoy talking anything outdooors and listening to music...among other things.

I have the utmost respect for what you do, because I am an LPN myself and know you gals (and guys) are the eyes and ears for the nurses (working as CNAs/STNAs).

the funny thing is I have never eaten there. :rolf2: I was in Fort Dodge on a job and I told the job forman I was headed to Osage after I got done there and he told me about that restaurant. I had to stop at Parkersburg also and I told a person I was going to Osage and that lady told me to eat there. Got gas at the Kwik Star in Osage and a car came up to me asking about where that restaurat was. But I didn't have time that day to eat there. I will be back in about a month or so so I will be eating there then

Kitty, do you work in a nursing home?
How many rezzies do you have at the moment?
What's your patient to nurse/cna ratio?

I work on a rehab unit right now, it's 26 if we are full beds, 2-3 CNAs per two nurses.
Thank God at the moment we are down to 16, but always have more incoming as the discharges usually occur at about 3-6 weeks depending on PT, etc...

We 61 residents...2 nurses on 2nd shift and 5 aides if we are lucky...we have worked with 3aides alot of times..yea i work at a nursing home,

By the way, state came in on Sunday... surprise!!:dizzy:
They left around 4:30 today.
We got the thumbs up (like I knew we would).. our place was and is on the top 20 list as best nursing facility in the state of Ohio.
We rawk!!

yea we didnt come out so good with state!!!:blush:some of the nurses gave wrong meds
