Hi Howard. I'm glad you wandered on over this way. This forum is a good bit busier than NTT and it's totally off topic so you can literally talk about anything.
Enjoy and post often!!!! :thumb:

Thanks for the replys. I'm into new holland tractors having about 14 of different sizes. We do canals and ponds mowing and also rightaway mowing.Just looking for new friends and see how everyone else do things diff. I go mudding with my 4wheeler on my time off.

Welcome! It's good to have another good-ol southern boy in here. I can use some help sometimes with them snow-birds!

Welcome Howierd ( I like that name)
I'm Urednecku's "better half"
We are both from central Florida all our lives.
He was drawn here thru the tractors and engines, and I just like the company and conversations, so post a lot!

Does Urednecku believe this? I thought he told me he was the "better half"?

I am not trying to stir something up here I just wanted to clarify. :rolf2:

 Snow birds live in the north where there's snow. We call them snow birds because they come here from where there's snow. We don't have snow here so we would'nt qualify as snow birds, but some of our visitors qualify because they came from snow. Just because a snow bird came to Florida from where there's snow doesn't qualify them to be called a snow bird alone. A snow bird can also live in the snow and never come to Florida. :thumb:

Yes I do Who The Better Half is.......I'm a guy I'm not that DUMB.....it does snow in the very north of Fla but not often....and yes it snow along time ago in Fort Pierce like 1976....just enought to make two snow balls.

Yeah, I remember that time it snowed in Florida. I slept thru it that morning.

I worked that day. That afternoon after work, about 5:30 pm, there was still snow on the roof of my Granny's house.

OK, it was on the North side, under the eve where it had piled up on the porch roof and no sun could get to it. About a wash-tub full, best I can remember. Most of the snow was gone soon as, if not before, the sun came up.

BTW, dam if'n it wasn't COLD that day!
