Hagglunds BV206 - Transfer Case troubleshooting

Hi Everyone - I have a BV206 which was stored this entire winter. When I dug it out, I had it winched to a flat parking lot so I could do some maintenance on it.

It rolled just fine, transmission in Neutral, transfer case lever in the middle in Neutral, but now the tracks and vehicle are "stuck" and will not roll at all.

What I've done:
1) Checked the shaft from the transmission flange to the upper transfer case connection: this spins freely when both are in Neutral (expected).
2) Removed the Brake fluid reservior cap and the E-brake cable from the brake.
3) Adjusted the Calipers to make sure the Brake Drum is not seized or binding (the brake pads are basically GONE, need to pull those next).

So everything is free spinning in the drivetrain up to where the transfer case connects to the front and rear output shafts.

My Questions are thus:
1) Do the gears for the Output shaft remain "engaged" at all times? In other words, if the tracks move, do those gears always spin? (My thought is yes).
2) Is there a way to disengage these output shafts without removing the spline and flange connections for both?
3) Where is the fill plug for this transfer case? I see a fitting at the top, facing backwards. I assume it's that one?|

Thanks for your help on this one. I think it's a seized transfer case, but I wanted to see if there are any steps I'm missing here.

Do a search (in the dark header above) for member Snowtrac Nome. Don has been pretty quiet the past couple of years, but if you send him a PM (click the envelope, new conversation, etc) he might send a reply. He's in Nome, hence his member name, but he worked on the Hagglunds for 17 years in the AK national guard. He will definitely be able to give you guidance.
