GW's speech tonight, I Wish!!!

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be completewithin 30 days. It is now to begin the reckoning. Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China.

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well.Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to
this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York .

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, "darn tootin."

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America. Thank you and good night.

AMEN!!:a1:

Seen it before, but its still as good as before..... Did you forward it to GW too????:D

RK, like your new home in DC. You got my vote, but might have to split it with Robin Williams. I would love to hear Him give your speach.......... I was supporting the war at one time, thought we could whip their butt and get out............Now I dont see it that way. I salute those that are serving, mourn for those that have paid the ultimate price, and pray for those that will forever remember this war because of the disabilities it has caused.

To the families of those affected by this war, you also have my salute for your sacrifice, your bravery, and your choice to serve homeside. Yeah those who are here are serving, if not in uniform, in their lives, everyday.

I will not become a fanatic either way. I think we should finish it NOW!

If you come here to work, you better live here, pay taxes, and be a citizen, otherwise we will treat you as we are in YOUR COUNTRY.

RK, you got it right, wish someone in the house would follow suit.

I simply love this!

May I add, if you can pray and not be killed, Thank God!

I wish it was as simple as that..... Its so much bigger than that.. No matter what the guy in office says, the other party will bash him, even if it was their idea first...Maybe we need to start from scratch.....

Is it really necessary to build a solid wall? If our elected officals wanted to stop this problem I'd think they would go for a virtual wall. They could create a zone that would sound an alarm if anyone entered, then after the warning shock or stun anything in the 'dead zone'. Maybe I've watched to many sci fi movies, but it sure seems plausable to me. It would not ugly up the landscape. They could also monitor the whole area with radar to tell when a group is trying to move through it. None of this seems that far fetched to me.
For whatever reason the people in charge do not really want to solve this problem.

Build a wall. Shoot invaders that cross it. DONE. NO MORE ILLEGALS. They wont cross.
Why do we even need the wall?

Just put up signs (in English and Spanish) at the border.

"Invaders will be violated. Survivors will be procecuted"

Ugly up the place????? How many time have you been down on the border? Ugly up the place? Have you seen what this third world culture is doing to the places they move to? Now thats uglying up the place. I use to live just a few miles from the border. Border Patrol had there ground sensors already installed there (virtual wall you could call it) Well after getting to know these guys thy told me how 85% of there call outs were bogus. Now that was just for a popular cross over point. No a wall would have much more meaning. It would have to be a "REAL" wall to be effective instead of the so called wall I have seen in some areas that have friggin hand holds on both sides! Yah That will discourage them from climbing! On top of the "NEW" wall should be a High Voltage line. There should be 100 yards of no mans land on each side of the wall (completely void of all vegitation) with ground sensors in the middle (less chance of animals triggering it if there is no vegitation around) 10 yards from the edge of the vegitation (South side of wall) should be rows upon rows of concentino wire. In front of that should be a simple wire fence labeled every 2 feet with a sign saying something to the effect of. "This nation is at war. Do not attempt to cross this border. Doing so will prove to us that you are an enemy of the United States. You will be looked at as a foriegn agent with intent to do harm to America. If you cross this fence you will be shot. The nearest legal point of entry is loacted ______." Only American citizens will be allowed to work on this project. Not only will you keep out the undesirables but you will also keep out the drug smugglers. Let them find another way. Right now they just walk across unapossed. Another reason to build "THE WALL"!

Here is the latest update on the bills moving through the House & Senate, that were stalled until President Bush gave his speech:

Senate Vote Gives Immigration Bill Steam

By SUZANNE GAMBOA, Associated Press Writer1 hour, 51 minutes ago

The Senate voted Wednesday to exclude illegal immigrants convicted of a felony or three misdemeanors from a chance at remaining in the United States under what critics say is an amnesty program.

The unanimous vote on an amendment that before Easter had been considered a "poison pill" provided added momentum for broad immigration bill that would give legal status to millions of illegal immigrants and put many of them on a path toward citizenship.

The amendment by two of the bill's leading opponents, Republican Sens. Jon Kyl of Arizona and John Cornyn of Texas, was softened Tuesday in negotiations with the legislation's supporters. The sponsors agreed to include exceptions for hardship cases and those who didn't know a deportation order had been issued for them, winning the additional support.

"We want to keep those who could harm us, the criminal element, out," said Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., one of the authors of the bill. "Those who could benefit us ought to remain."

Critics of the legislation aren't giving up, however, and planned to keep trying to reshape the bill.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., offered an amendment Wednesday that would erect more fencing along the nearly 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexican border, an idea similar to one in an enforcement-only bill passed by the House in December.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said Wednesday that lawmakers increasingly realize the need for a comprehensive plan that goes beyond trying to stop people at the border.
"If you just try to build a wall 30 feet high and 2,000 miles long, it will be insufficient. People will go up over it, around it, in order to get a job in this country," Frist said on CBS' "The Early Show."

THIS to me is a complete copp out! So walls are no good? So I guess the Great wall of China didnt work? Whats the first thing you see at any jail or prison? WALLS. So for now on lets build prisons without walls? Would that make any sense? No I get it the convicted criminals would just stay there because they are supposed to. So I guess the Illegal aliens are supposed to saty out because they are supposed to? Yah that has worked. What a crock of shit! Build the damn wall! That would keep the millions that cross our borders each year OUT! If we reinforce the wall with real troops and with REAL Border Patrol agents That would maintane its integrity. Then simply enforce the existing illegal aliens laws we have then they will stay out or they will apply for a legal work Visa! FINE the shit out of who EVER hires these people! Fine them and jail them! No more illegal alien problems. Then our schools can really teach and our hospitals can reopen again. The whole thing is a joke without real border control. You cant have real border control without a real barrier. A WALL is a REAL barrier. It would be impossible for the illegals to come here as freely as they obviously do now if we had a real barrier in place. This will force them to go through a real border crossing. They would need to apply for a work Visa. With that they also need to abide by the same Work Visa rules as the Mexican Government has. NO PROTESTING OF ANY KIND! If you break ANY laws you will serve your time and then be deported for EVER. Right now the Government needs to crack down on the illegals workers buy targeting them and there Employers! Fines and jail time. Fine the illegals for there time in jail along with the employers. Make them pay for the encarseration and then throw there asses in jail!

Quite to the contrary...

We put those on our side to "return" the illegals.

Once their compadres see them coming back over the wall (and what the landing looks/feels like), they may have second thoughts about coming in.

Any wall can be compromised if left to its own (well history has shown the Great Wall of China was completely effective) Thats why you have a REAL Border Patrol. To man and patrol the wall. Its that simple. Incomming gets shot down. Hows that. Mount quad fifties every couple hundred feet. WHO CARES Build it! They simply walk across by the thousands EVERY DAY NOW!

:thumb::applause: - And we thought Bob was whacked for building a catapult:pat:

Oh lets just be honest, you plain old think I am whacked. The catapult has nothing to do with it. Or perhaps it is just one of many many reasons why you think that about me!:tiphat:

Nah, that's the only thing. Others may feel that owning a snow-trac to crop-tour around corn fields is whacked, but I think you're just building up the market demand - soon everyone needing to keep up with the Skurkas (Dargo) will need to have one;)

I hate to admit this, and I realize this may be a DUMB idea, but why not make Mexico the 51st state?

You really must be joking. Welfare for that state would cripple the US.

Why would we assume that Mexico would give up its soveranty to the US and desire to become a state? Seems pretty arrogant to assume that. Afterall, their citizens already work here and send money back there. And we go there as tourists. So they are getting our money, and they don't have to put up with our bullshit politicians!
