Well I had a tower site I was up working on and the trail was just bad, the washboard from sleds made it very slow going...
well the next morning the repeater went off line and we we didnt know why. so I headed back up there and the trail was groomed! I was happy as we could get up there faster. well a few miles in there is a side hill I normally bypass by going up and over a ridge. but with the trail groomed I just stayed on the trail, and just around the corner I came across the groomer.
I talked to them and they had the bad luck to get there winch cable all the way unspooled. so I used our cat to help pull the slack out of there line so it would start spooling again, and with having stuff down they were going to keep at it and try and get out, (they were a bit hesitant in letting me try and pull them out with our cat being the smaller of the two)
so I headed up and got my work done and then came back down, well they had slid another 30 -40 ft down the hill. it was dark at this time. and I didnt take any pictures.
there winch was burnt up by now... but we were able to pull them out with our winch.
