The day people got rid of the grammar police was the day the world went downhill.
Can I ask you the question?
Do you think anyone on social media had correct grammar. No. Why too much writing.
And because new generations do not get taught correctly.
So please grammar police come back. If I am doing something wrong with my grammar I want to know.

Because never stop and I genuinely mean that.
I am not an intelligent person but grammar is not my strong suit. And schools often do not teach it correctly.

Well, to be fair, those who write and speak correctly grammatically are actually seen as superior by people. Because this is a rarity, it emphasizes how writing correctly is such a good thing. People still appreciate it; they will respect you when you write or speak correctly but won’t really correct you if you make mistakes.

And why is that important?
If people think they are superior then why is it important, they are probably the ones often with degrees.
They have worked hard to know what they do and also you should respect your elders in terms of if someone older was taught better and knows more, you should respect it.
If people have given up being the grammar police, I understand it because people just are happy to be on social media and online all day long now and are virtually illiterate some people.
I know personally my own grammar is far from perfect, part of it in my opinion is because I was taught improperly in high school.
It is true that some people are not good with language or grammar naturally and sometimes it may seem rude and condescending but it is also sad to see good grammar fade more as time goes by.

Proper grammar and usage is, and should continue to be taught in the early days, long before high school.
