Google Voice?

Anyone have any info on it or have given it a try? Thoughts?
Sounds like you give out one phone number then you control how to handle the calls from it.

You are correct. I have it, I do not use it a lot, but expect to be doing it soon.

If you are a security concerned person, it IS something more Google knows about you.

I like the getting my voiceessages transcribed in an e-Mail.

I've been using it for the last year. It works pretty good and integrates nicely with my Android phone.

The best parts:

Free long distance to US and Canada
Free call blocking
Voice Mail goes straight to email (with a less than stellar transcription).

Bad parts:

Controlled by google and they are probably selling my info (not that I do anything special over the phone).
Have to log in to Google to place long distance calls (slight hassle).

I looked into it but couldn't get it in the UK yet but from what I've seen of it so far its alot better than any alternatives out there so far.
