Fuel saver

About ten years ago them magnets came around here. Everybody bought one. I didn't buy one. But I don't think any one has them any more. Not much of an investment though. Let us all know how you do for mileage.

I knew someone was buying those or I wouldn't keep getting spammed with offers to buy them.

If they work, maybe I can strap a couple on myself and get better blood flow to my heart. Heck if that work, I can strap it on the hose of my beer keg to get better flow to the glass.

Maybe if it was attached to the hard drive of my computer, the information would flow faster in and out of my computer.

Since I don't really know the best use for it yet, I'd probably just use it to hold my important floppy disks to the fridge.

you dont want one of those on your harddrive, or floppies that you plan on keeping......

I have a few bridges and tunnels that I would like to sell you. Great return on your investment when you collect the toll money. Let me know which one you would like to purchase. They are all the same price... $25.00 each

Lincoln Tunnel
Holland Tunnel
Brooklyn Bridge
George Washington Bridge ( Martha Washington thrown in for free)
Verazano Narrows Bridge
San Francisco Bay Bridge ( Alcatraz Island $10 additional)

You only purchased the East bound side.... the West bound side of the tunnel is still available for purchase. The West bound side is the one that collects the tolls... It cost a little more for this reason..... :pat:

I read several pages of the sellers feedback. seems like it does work for some people but not for others....hummm. says it works for deisel engines up to 3 liters in size....that rules me out.

I am as sceptical about these things as anyone, However magnetic field continue to suck me in. over many years I have been amazed with what it can do. In the 80s I shoed horses for a living and one of the Vets that I had many dealings with one day said to me that a particular horse I was shoeing would benefit from magnets fitted into the walls of its hoofs. This horse had a history of shelly brittle feet that would not grow and as a consequence it was hard to get nails into a solid part of the foot. With great scepticism He and I fitted magnets to its feet, Call it coincidence or whatever but over the following 12 months the feet on this horse had grown at rates far faster than any horse I ever shoed.

In the mid 90s I operated a wholesale nursery producing saltbush plant in speedling trays for farmers. For the first 2 or 3 years I battled with algae on top of the trays till one day an irrigation supplier showed me this magnetic do flicky that you fitted to the water line going into the nursery. It was about $500 but I was desperate to try anything so I dug deep and took the gamble. No bullshit I never had algae problems again. What was also interesting was that visually you could also see that the surface tension on the plant leaves also changed dramatically.

Call me a crack pot if you want but I am convinced that these observations were not in my imagination

Vin; I've had similar experiences with a magnetic bracelet I wore for awhile. My right elbow was flaring up with tendonitis, and I wore the bracelet out of desperation. It didn't take long before it quit hurting. Now if I could find one to go over my shoulders, I'd buy 2 of them!!:tiphat::beer:

Junkman,
now I'm being serious. You mean they collect money to pass though on their precious bridge? But only one way?
I must be from a small town. I've never heard of such a thing! I figured tolls were for a ferry ride or something.

Golden Gate Bridge is that way also. 6 bucks one way (and that was 8 years ago).
When I got to checking to drive around and bypass the bridge to save 6 bucks, it would take over an hour and a good bit of fuel, so they know once you cross the free direction (leaving SF) you'll be back and pay the toll, eventually.

What a racket.
"PAY THE TOLL:gun2: OR ELSE!"

You know, if we had a deal like that, we'd probably go straight to jail, no questions asked!:14_6_12:
