'lil yinzer~
so, i was supposed to get this minor procedure done the other day. okay. well, 1st they put me on a food/fluid restriction for the nite, when i normally take one of the snoozing pills that makes me sooooo ravenous for sugar & pop. i'm already on a fluid restriction as it is so this didn't sit too well w/ me. then the girl taking me says she is getting me @ 6:30 in the morning! i'm fighting to zonk then most nights. then once we get there, she says she's got a mandatory meeting & sends this girl i haven't met in my entirity to wait w/ me as i was not allwoed to get the procedue nor leave by myself. then they inform me it's an full-day procedure. i was as pissed by this time as a woman w/ a severe case of pms that goes to get the cookies & some chocolates & chips only to find crumbs & empties before returning to her lifetime movie marathon, sobbing.
well after this, they take me to get prepped, begin things, & decide it's too soon for this 'lil procedure. so i got to leave! turns out this girl that was dumped on me was okay so i saw if she wanted to get some Christmas shopping in. then i remembered a giftcard & a generous coupon in my purse, plus a check & my debit card. so i got several gifts, some winter stuff for me, decorations, & my 1st official ornament- a 'lil pair of rainboots that look so similar to my wellies~! (i'm a rainboot junkie). usually it's silver/redd bulbs sans the -imho- tacky ornaments. my boots 'er now connected to my keychain till i've completed decorating. then i glimsped @ the reciept 2 see how much i'd spent. fuc*, i thought.
later that nite, i was poking through 1 of my older bags of Chef's tools & in this almost hidden flap found some straight cash. sweeeet!
my grumpy day went elsewhere by that evening!
