Hey folks I need some help.

One of the ForumForum members in France sent me a new Snow Trac article. The problem is that it is in French. He speaks broken English. I speak even less French. I need to translate the article so I can post a translation on the Forums.

I've tried the free Internet Translator websites but they are far from perfect. Do we have anyone here who I can email a document to, and you can type a translation for us?

Or do you have a child who is taking French in school who can do this for us?

I would gladly pay you back with a hearty "attaboy" and some verbal gratitude. Heck I might even stop insulting BigAl for up to 24 hours if you could help me :tiphat:

The article is 2 pages (tabloid size) long. But there is quite a bit of type on those 2 pages. I'm in the process of having the article scanned. Let me get that done (it may not be until tomorrow), as soon as it is done I'll send you an email of the scans. I'm going to post the original scans on the Forums for everyone, if it takes a week or two or more to get the translation posted we can easily live with that.

As for letting up on BigAl, that was only thrown in an extra incentive, but it is optional, you don't have to take me up on that part! :eek:

I tried that program, in fact I use it pretty often. It works OK for simple sentence structure and short phrases but it is lousy for any complex sentence structure. I did a sample paragraph to see if I could use it, and basically I ended up with gibberish.
