For the record, these are Semi loads

I've shipped one Spryte with a 12 passenger cab south via barge from Anchorage to SeaTac at about 1/4 the price that it cost me to barge each of the three cats I've brought north over the years. I put in quite a bit of time finding the best deal and the barge route was always the cheapest. However if you are set on trucking I do have the name of a trucking outfit that primarily ships between Minnasota and Anchorage/Fairbanks: Wright Way Enterprises,Inc. Earl Wright @ (218) 243-2180 or an Anchorage #(907) 229-7910. I know there must be trucks heading south empty all the time and I have talked to truckers in the past who are looking for fuel costs only heading south so I'll keep my ears open and pass the word to those in the business. If you do end up barging out of Anchorage I do know several instate independant truckers who run empty from Fairbanks. I will have to let you know however, I think it is almost a criminal act taking any trackrig or snowcat out of Alaska. What comes to Alaska should stay in Alaska!:glare:

Check with polaris and artic cat. I friend of mine hauls for them and he said most of the time they dead head back. Some of the time, they pick up a load in Washington, depending on how they come home. I need some time to confirm this as he was just in a serious accident with his wife. They hit a tractor that was mowing the snow cat trails. Don't ask because I don't know the details.

Contact the Alaska Trucking Assn in Anchorage, they can give you leads on some of the companies that do back hauls to cover the fuel. Many don't have loads to head south on and are open to working with you.

Try Minn-Alaska Transport in Palmer- (907)746-3950. Are you going to be selling these cats? There may be some local interest, could save you some $ on freight.
