OK, I just got an e-mail from USAirways that said they're bringing back free drinks in the coach cabin.

When did they (or other airlines) start charging for non-alcoholic beverages?

I assuming there was some sort of uproar or multiple complaints to have them backpedal on that idea.

They also go on to elude that you pay for checked luggage. Is that for all bags or just over-sized or multiple bags?

US Air started charging for non-alcoholic drinks last summer.

From my understanding, the first checked bag is like $25 or something and another $25 for each additional bag.

Some airlines charge $25 for each checked bag under 50 pounds and then tack on a surcharge by the pound over that.
