i'm pissed. called fish and wildlife got transferred 5 times and last number was critter control. I didn't bother with them. I made a call to the local tribal office and no one at the desk.

it turns it head and blinks . My small dog run up to it and it didn't do anything. It must be close to death. two other eagles are in a tree not far away.
 
If it is still in that cold water it will die, and soon. To remove it, I think you have to take away it's sight with something thrown over it's head. Once that is done gloves and steady hands should get it out of there. Put it in a closed box, so it cann't see out. Then get back on the phone. I bet there are foks in your area who can help with this.

Do You really want me jail?It is federal I plan on staying away. One of the nearby nests your not allowed 150ft from it. what I was told. To bad it has to suffer.
You can't even own the feathers.
It is almost on tribal land.
 
That is so fu*ked up. Apparently only the government knows how to help a dieing eagle, us common folks haven't got enough smarts. Screw those assholes, go help the bird.

I say so too.... What the hell will they do to you for gettting them to come and get a LIVE injured bird anyway?

I took a rapture rehabilitation person to it and it is in good hands now. It didn't fight much .I was told to call 911 next time and they would get with them.
 
the eagle was released today. it was just cold and tired they said. it flew the direction of the place I found it that is about 1/2 mile away. An adult female.
5 days to recover .
when it was picked up .It was so bad it laid flat with its head down in the kennel.
no pictures,sorry. was asked not to .
