do you know the horsepower of that Wis v4? - this looks like something that would be useful to me for grooming my sleddog trails
 
The specs in the manual that came with machine say this V4 Wisconsin air cooled engine, model VH4 , has, 30 HP,and speeds to 18 mph. The machine is 114"long and 70'' wide . Snotrans

I'll post as it goes., process is due to start sooner or later...

This winter I imagine to simply use it as is, with just TLC mechanically,

I would like to get the feel for it, so I know what to expect from it as a factory vs what mods I will do...

Great buy ! I sold one of these year and a half ago with trailer for 6800.00 if you type in thiokol 1402 imp on the net it will pop up take a look at the 6 man :biggrin:seating and cab . I also had front and rear winch

Seen them all before I purchased this one. You and another member here posted your mods and it definitely set some "goals" for me.

I ran it out on the property yesterday, just to get the feel for it.

Would love to put a different engine in there with an auto, would make it all so much easier probably, but at the same time, I think keeping it all original will be much nicer...

after all, its not a Bentley... :)
