Flexitor Axle for bombi

highaltitude

New member
We just pulled the tracks on the 75 Bombi to change sprockets and some tires and noticed that the right rear flexitor splines are mangled. Anywhere to get a new one of these?

Also cannot adjust axle on right side. Disconnected the hydraulic adjusters but cannot push in or pull out right side with a come-along attached. Going to try hydraulic jack tomorrow. Do not see any bends in the tubing but it will not budge. Anyone else see issues with he rear adjuster

Also are the axle angles measured with load on the axle or unloaded?

We have the flexitors in stock www.mn-outdoors.com

angles are measured unloaded

if you have the adjuster out of the machine try soaking it in a pail of oil then put some
grease in it till it comes apart

I guess I should have been more concise in my description of the problem. The hydraulic adjusters are removed but the right rear will still not move. Broke a 6 ton jack trying to move it. After further investigation it appears someone repaired the adjuster bracket with a welder and ended up penetrating through the tubing and locking the slide. In the process of cutting it out now and making a semi-permanent fix for the winter.

Since the rear axle was tracking to the left due to one side being adjusted and the other not it ruined the right rear bearing and messed up the splines on the flexitor.

Do you have a ball park price on the flexitor? We will probably place an order for one later in the week.

Also does anyone have part numbers for Bombi wheel bearings and seals?
