Fisherman's Friend cough lozenge

Rusty Shackleford

Automotive M.D.
smells strong, tastes bad, doesnt look like something you wanna put in your mouth.

but DAMN do they work! they have been around forever and i have been wanting to give these a try for a couple years now but could never find them. found them at a little bitty Rutters', (a stop n shop gas station, for those who dont know,) for $1.79. they came in a pack of 40, divided into two 20 piece packs. does everything it says it will do! clears the nasal passage, soothes the throat, and does suppress the cough. within 2 minutes of poppin one in this morning i was feeling much much better. i could breath again! if you've never used these, give them a try. i will be keeping these on hand all the time now. got a pack at work, and a pack in the car to take home.

all in all Lofthouse's definatley hit one out of the park with this product. 5 stars!

You can get them things in pretty much every shop by me.....taste like shit but yea they do work.

Just the name puts me off....putting a Fisherman's friend in my mouth sounds very dodgy indeed.:gay:....must be a French thing :yum::yum::yum:

+1 -- I think it's the mixture of menthol, licorice & capsicum that makes them work so well.
OTOH, if you can smell them in the bag you probably don't need them yet!

Those things used to be a staple in the UK during winter when everybody was sniffling and sneezing. Yea, they do work if you're man enough to use them.:biggrin:
