First of all - what is this

We got this as part of a deal, but I can't find any make/model or serial number any where on it. Can anybody tell me what it is and where I would find a serial number or other identification?

Looks like a J5 body with a few mods done to it. I'm not sure about the ID tag....Here's a pic of 4 of 5 that my friend has restored.

And here is the 5th one being put together....

dito on the j5 (looks to be right width). Cab is not original, if the dash is there may be a tag on it, or maybe behind the seat.....

Should have (if original) a Chrysler 251 flathead 6

I am in North Bay, Ontario, Canada

The valve cover clearly says Ford and the engine looks like it could be a 300, but I haven't looked too closely yet.
