My boyfriend and I got our first car yesterday. It's so exciting! I've never been this excited about something in my LIFE hehe. It's a 2001 Honda Accord and only had 109,000 miles!! (We also just got an apartment together in February. WOOT WOOT)

What's the first major purchase you made with your significant other?
 
Aww! How cute! Now THAT's a day I am sure to be excited for!! Just the thought of that happening gives me butterflies. I'm not ready yet though..

Congrats on the new (to you) car. Honda's run and run. Even with 100k they ride like new. Enjoy!
It's been so long I can't remember the 1st major purchase, I suppose it was a house (got that right after we got married) so I suppose I should say 1st a wedding ring and then the house. Before we were married we did not buy stuff together.

My wife got a car and a payment book for that car instead of an engagement ring. I bought a house, in my name, a couple months before getting married. She got a diamond ring on our 20th anniversary. This year is our 25th and she is getting a leaf blower :wub:
 
We aren't big on presents. I've not bought her a diamond ring yet. But she gets Benzes and boats. First Benz we bought and first boat we bought were both at her insistance. I wanted her to buy a Sentra and a much smaller boat.
