Fire in Glendora

We have a fire going in Glendora and heading for Azuza. I can see the smoke from my home. I'm not in any danger but three homes have already burned in the hills. The police are questioning two men who were found near the point of origin.

The weather is hot and dry with offshore winds blowing. We've had Santa Ana winds for the last four days. Humidy is single digit. It's a very bad situation. I can hear and see the water dropping airplanes. The helicopters are refiling from reservoirs near the fire. The fire has already burned 200 acres and the smoke has reached the ocean. It is totally our of control. This is one that will burn for several days.

Thanks Danang. Things can be replaced but not lives. I've changed my avatar to my cat Amigo that I lost on Tuesday. He was 14 and had a medical problem that the doctors could not figure out. They had never seen anything like this and we all are hoping that pathology will give us an answer.

He's beautiful Leni. That and personality would be priceless.

Everyone who met him loved him. Believe me when I say that there would have been a fight over who got to adopt him if I decided to give him up. The vet told me that he totally disrupted the operations of the clinic. It turned that he cried to be petted and when the person left he cried again. They went back to him.

He went up to people that he had never seen before and gave them a love around. He was a very special cat. We were not the only ones. All of the vets and staff said the same thing. He will be missed by a lot of people.

I hope so also. It would really help my hussband.

Well the've arrested three men for starting the fire. It turns out that they started a campfire because they were cold and it got away from them. Well, duh! You don't start a compfire when the Santa Ana's are blowing. :hammer::hammer::hammer:
