Well after all the work I have done to this thing I decided to take it out. Not much snow but enough to see What else to add to the list. Its trully a shake run on the hard snow. Almost rattled my teeth out untill I grabed 4th and it smoothed out and the snow got softer later into the day. I have 1 side turning the pipe white and im not sure if I painted it with something weird because I was tweeker painting or if my wrapping has something to do with it, or maybe its that heat valve on the bottom of the manifold. Pulled the plugs and they didnt look too lean. Not sure. ANY one know how to find a rebuild kit for a carter 2378??? Cant seem to find one at the auto parts stores

You'll get more exhaust flow on that pipe because the heat riser damper on the other exhaust manifold will divert exhaust flow across through the cross over port in the intake manifold. I would say pretty normal, but you might want to check the heat riser/spring and make sure it's functioning properly, make sure it can open.

really nice cat you've got there.

That is actually the same side as the dampner but it doesent work. I tried putting it in the location that I thought was open but it might not of been so I released it thinking the egsaust would open it up under its own power. Not sure.

Thanks for the compliments as I have put a ton of work into this thing as it was abused and neglected when I bought it. I bid on it under 15ft of snow and when I dug it out I found a lot op broken and worn out parts. Springs fith wheel plate, Track rubber, ect.

Thank you

Just wondering where you run your cat. I keep mine at foresthill, and if we ever get some snow, might be fun to get our cats together for an outing ! I had a 1544 prior to my current cat ,great machines.

I have property out Cisco by Fordyce Lake but have not brought it out there yet. These pics were off Bowman rd just off 80. Ive never been to China wall but my buds sled there sometimes
