well I finally finished up my thiokol2100 tracks this weekend I have the process refined to about 8 hours to rebuild one. I found the best way to deal with those bolts was to split every one with a plasma cutter, remove as many as possible with vise grips ,than change to the slower method with special wrenches. this got me down to 1.5 hours per belt. a special thanks go's out to Paul at pbl enterprises AKA, dr Zaugg for having being able to round up the guides and making a good deal to me as I had to buy 140 of them with a huge box of bolts, he got me a great deal on shipping to anchorage there wasn't much I could do from anch to nome I have special pricing on air cargo still it cost's a small fortune to get here. tonight I will be installing the tracks. so I will get pics. I apologize Allen I see now why you procrastinated so long on your track rebuild project.

once I have the tracks on tonight there will be a test drive than I have a pad on the ice to plow and a repeater to haul to the top of a mountain. we will get some pics tonight than I will put up some pics of this weekends adventures

my youngest got a blizzard snow cat for Christmas last winter. I like the stack coming out the hood of those ac powered 3700's I should try to do that with my 2100.
