Dennis Weaver died on Friday. Today is the first I saw it on the news. He was 81, same age as Don Knots. From Gunsmoke to Mc something (the cowboy Marshal that rode a horse in time square), I always enjoyed his characters.

What's with all this actors up and dying on us?:StickOutT First Don Knotts, then Darren McGavin (sp?), and now Dennis Weaver. They were all about the same age, too. I never much cared for Gunsmoke though. I don't like westerns. I remember him best from his role in Duel. That was a good movie. I think it was also Stephen Speilberg's first film.
