One day a guy got out of court after finishing up a nasty divorce. On the way home he decided he needed a new car so he stopped and bought a new mustang cobra, a nice one, what the hell. On his way home he stretched out the legs of the car a little, and next thing you know it, flashing lights, a cop behind him.
He was feeling reckless in the new car so he stomps on it, 80, 90, 100 and the cop easily keeps pace. He has a choice to make, so 120, 130, 150 miles an hour in this new car. The cop's right behind him. When he hits 160, he decides there's no point, might as well slow down and take his lumps and get it over with.
The cop comes up to the window, and just shakes his head. "Sir, I'm sure you know why I pulled you over. Why were you driving so fast?"
"Well officer, you can see here I have the court documents from a divorce I settled today. My ex wife ran off with a police officer. I thought you were trying to bring her back!"
