Hello all,
We've got a LMC 1800 and tore one of the inner track belts all the way off right up by the lacing hinge. I am trying to decide what's the best strategy to get us thru the rest of the season til we can re-do the tracks this summer.
SHould I put in a new piece of belting from the original lacing back thru the first grouser to midway between grouser one and two, cut the old belting there and butt join it with an additional lacing hinge? Of should I overlap belting a grouser lenght or two or three and use longer bolts on the grousers whrethe belt thickness is double?
I guess the question comes down to add a a lacing hinge , or overlap belting for a double up joint?
Thanks for any and all advice!
