Gone But Not Forgotten
The immigration has started . The Elk are all lined up and heading out for lower climate this snowy morning .
I just looked upfrom the computer and they were jumping the front pasture fence . The other smaller (resident)herd will Winter here on the Ranch but this group will be moving about 50 miles west of us .
If anyone has never seen this , it will go on all day !!! Hundreds, Thousands of elk , mostly in single file heading out . Very few people ever get a chance to experience this first hand !
The wife grabbed her camera and is taking pictures now . I'll post them when she is done .
